The Hotel Bonsai is located in San Teodoro in Via Golfo Aranci, off of Via Gramsci, few KM from Olbia's port and airport.

San Teodoro is a town with roots in sheep herding and farming.  It has since become the destination for many tourists because of its marvellous beaches. There are also many small gulfs with distinctly white and red rocks

The coast along San Teodoro is full of capes and rocks which are covered by the colourful vegetation common to the Mediterranean. The sea along the coast is clean and translucent. The beautiful beaches are located amongst the most popular areas of Sardinia including: La Cinta, Lu Impostu, Cala d'Ambra, l'Isuledda, Capo Coda Cavallo, Cala Girgolu and many others.

There are two important seaports for tourist boats in close proximity of San Teodoro. Ottiolu and Punta Aldia are well equipped in handling the maintenance of sail boats. There are several delightful locations surrounding the island which are perfect for fishing and diving. Beach umbrellas, lawn chairs, canoes, water bikes and rubber boats can all be rented from the primary beaches.

"La Cinta" beach is 5 kilometres long and is primarily characterized by white, fine grainy sand and emerald green water. The dunes in the area are full of a variety of   plants and flowers such as the lily and juniper. 

The rich Mediterranean vegetation separates the beach from the famous pond which is home to sea crows, ducks and pink flamingos! Organized excursions through the surrounding forests of the Gennargentu mountains are available for booking through the hotel.

The extraordinary wilderness of these mountains are perfect for a short nature hike. There both jeep and walking tours are available.
